Subject : Approval and Visa Procedure for Iraq

Following is the step by step procedure to obtain visa for Iraq for Prospective zaaereen :

Tour Operators are requested to submit names and passport details of the passengers (i.e. Name , Passport No. , Birth date , Nationality , Passport date of Issue and Expiry ) in proper excel sheet to Faiz-e-Hussainy/ Karbala Moalla.

Faiz-e-Hussainy Karbala will submit the names of the Zaereen along with passport details to the Iraqi Officials to obtain APPROVAL for Iraqi VISA

The Ministry of Interior will take about seven working days to process the approval. They will forward the names to other government offices and relevant embassies and a copy to Faiz e Hussainy Karbala Moalla.

Faiz-e-Hussainy will then forward this copy of approval to the Tour Operators who can then apply for the visa in the local Embassy .

NOTE: Mobile phones, cameras and all digital items are prohibited  in the haram. Amaanaat/lockers are available outside the haram,  where one can deposit these items and collect after ziyarat.  Zaereen are advised to carry with them the bare minimum. Any  excessive items in ones bag will cause delay in tafteesh/security check, and hence will be time consuming for the zair. It is  mandatory for women to wear full sleeve blouse, socks and keep  their hair covered at all times. Men should wear proper saya kurta and topi at all times.

Each zair who books himself through a Faize Husaini or a any tour organiser has to fill up this form and send it to their respetive tour organisers.

Note: Head of family should fill this form and add all dependants in the details.
